A quick review of how we got here

 

THE 90s

GROWING UP

I grew up in Ohio, near Cleveland. Growing up was mostly about running in the woods with friends and playing PC games.

LATE 2000s DESIGN, PRINT, WEB

COLLEGE

I attended Kent State University and BGSU where I focused on Business, and later Visual Communication. I left with 7/8ths of a degree.

2009+ BRANDING, FRONT-END

FREELANCE

This is why I left school; it cost $90/hr and I could work for real clients and make $50/hr. Was a pretty easy choice.

2010s FOUNDER, PRODUCT LEAD

MY OWN STARTUPS

I help found two angel-funded startups in Ohio. We won awards, won grants, had paying customers and learned a lot.

2014+ PRODUCT, BRAND, FRONT-END

CRYPTO CONSULTING

This is where the party started. I went down the rabbit hole and ended up working with some of the top individuals & teams in crypto.

2017-2019 DIR. OF CONTENT STRATEGY

PURSE & BCOIN

I wore many hats. I built websites, designed multisig wallets, rebranded. I learned Javascript and helped grow a FOSS community.
